Yep, if we can float around there thru the regular season I'm fine with that... then let the Roy Williams March commence.

6-12 is about right considering what I've seen out there. We should continue to get better and we might deserve a top 5 by ACC time!

I thought the drop after the Michigan loss was a little over kill .. but I believe for now somewhere between the 7-11 range is somewhat fair. But I honestly believe this team has the potential to be a 5-9 or so by mid to late ACC season .. just not sure how well the development of the 3 new bigs will go .. or Cam's rehab. The outside game and 1-4 positions are there for a FF run ... but there has got to be some serious advancement and contribution on both offense and defense from the 5. jmho

This is one of those teams that could flame out in the Sweet 16 or make a run to the Final Four. Just a LOT hinging on the development of the bigs. If one of Brooks, Manley, or Huffman develop into a strong 20-25 minute per game player that can clean up the misses and drop a stat line of 8pts, 6 rebounds, this team could be dangerous.

With our lineup and how Roy is using our bench, we have to look at our freshman bigs in a consolidated manner. If we can get 20 and 10 from those 3 combined, it’s a home run and we are every bit as good as a final 4 contender. Hell even 15 and 8 would be big time.

Goal will be to get Cam back and productive, and get rapid development of the 3 freshman bigs. I love the way Roy is giving minutes to the freshman, and all deserving players. In the last game, 10 players had 10 or more minutes of playing time. We will be fine in March.
