09/09 - Hubert Davis and Sean May were in Dallas Friday morning to meet with Zayden High's parents for the first time. From there the coaches flew to Phoenix to see Zayden at Compass Prep. He has a huge visit coming up at the end of the month.
09/09, 10:42 A.M. - The NCAA recruiting period begins today. Adam Zagoria tweets that Hubert Davis will be in to watch Ian Jackson, the top-ranked player in the 2024 class, next Thursday. He is a very probably reclass into 2023. We will add more breaking news of visits into this thread as we get it.
09/09, 10:56 A.M.- I've also gotten word from a very connected individual that Coach Davis will be speaking with Jackson today. This guy is not a North Carolina guy, so this is national news that he is aware of. He tells me that Davis is pushing hard for Jackson, and there is Tar Heel buzz surrounding him. He also believes the odds are that a 2023 reclass will happen. It sounds to me like UNC could in more of a advantageous spot by the day.
09/09, 11:08 A.M. - Brad Frederick was in Gainesville, Florida at the Rock School this morning to see Ryan Jones Jr. The 6-9 power forward is ranked No. 40 in the 2024 class. He does not have an offer yet, but is coming off a lower body injury from earlier in the year that kept him from playing AAU. His father told THI immediately afterwards that Hubert Davis will be back to watch him live.

Besides the trip to Cardinal Hayes for Jackson and Moore, he will also be at Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains to watch 2024 Boogie Fland and 2025 Danny Carbuccia. Fland has an offer. Carbuccia does not, but UNC has basically been watching him since he began high school. Interestingly enough, Davis will be teaching today at the New York Coaches Clinic at Stepinac along with Danny Hurley, Kyle Neptune, and two others.
