• No. 10 Carolina fell to 11-3 overall with a 49-38 loss to No. 17 Baylor in the Russell Athletic Bowl. The Tar Heels are now 14-18 all-time in bowl games.
• Carolina finished the season with a number of single-season school records, including most points (570), most points per game (40.7), most yards of total offense (6,817), most yards per game (486.9), most yards per play (7.3), most touchdowns (73), most first downs (335), most yards rushing (3,142), most yards per rush (6.0), most rushing touchdowns (40), most yards passing (3,675) and most touchdown passes (31).
• Carolina averaged 486.9 yards of total offense per game. It is the fourth consecutive season UNC has averaged more than 425 yards under head coach Larry Fedora. This is the first time Carolina has averaged more than 400 yards per game in four straight years.
• Quarterback Marquise Williams accounted for five touchdowns, including three passing scores and two rushing TDs. He accounted for 99 touchdowns in his career, rushing for 35 touchdowns (UNC record for a QB), passing for 61 and three receiving touchdowns.
• Williams’ touchdown pass to tight end Brandon Fritts in the first quarter was his 22nd scoring pass of the year, which established a new single-season high. He had 21 as a junior in 2014. Williams threw three touchdown passes this evening and finished with 24 for the year, which is the third-highest single-season mark in school history.
• Williams had 324 yards of total offense against Baylor and finished the season with 4,020 to break the UNC single-season record he set last year. He is one of only nine players in ACC history with more than 4,000 yards of total offense.
• Williams finished his career with 10,423 yards of total offense, which ranks fourth in ACC history.

• Tailback Elijah Hood rushed for 118 yards on 13 carries. It was his eighth 100-yard rushing game of the season. Hood finished the year with 1,463 yards, which is the second-highest single-season total in school history. He moved past Mike Voight (1,407 in 1976) and finished behind Don McCauley (1,720 in 1970)
