Been a long time poster over at IC...

We're eagerly awaiting the upcoming season. We have a lot of question marks to be answered on offense, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Welcome to the Blitz.
Mostly, we are bored with the summer. Now that the Cubs have joined the Red Sox in winning the World series after so long, MLB is not of much interest to me.

Welcome to the board. We're a lot smaller than IC (which I believe was the largest site on the Scout network) and most our activity is on the premium board. Things here will pick up as we get closer to the start of the season.
We're going to need to know your opinion on:
- our uniforms
- Fedora's offense
- fan participation in Kenan....
(just kidding)
-Actually Love the new unis
-I think Fed's offense is a proven scheme if there is someone overseeing it properly
-No comment on fan participation...

Thanks for being so welcoming guys. I really wanted the IC board to continue to be as it was, but I guess nothing lasts forever. I'm an incurable optimist, so I'll keep giving it the old college try over there. I liken coming over here to strolling over to the bar across the street and having a beer just to check it out...I think I'll stay for another round!...

Fed's offense requires a 1st rate, healthy RB, preferably with some size.
We are a wine and cheese fan base. Too calm. too quiet.
Like red Sox and Cubs fans, Tar Heel football fans must be incurable optimists.
It paid off for them. It will pay off for us too. Eventually.

Doh...got me. Yeah, we have quite a few those BB only fans over at IC. Shoulda sniffed that one out.
Not if it's anything like the premium football board. Ran a poll a couple years ago showing UNC football-only fans are a complete oddity.

Exactly. I have never met a UNC football-only fan. Never.
And even I am not truly a football-first fan. I know that football is worth much more in fiscal terms, as well as emotional ones, but I want to see the Heels win the CWS as much as I want to see a Tar Heel National Championship in football. The baseball one bothers me so much that I no longer comment on the sport - baseball superstition is now in control.
If you think that funny - last season, I made not one post about the Diamond Heels all season, until right before the start of the Region - and we lost to %&$@ Davidson. So now, I may not post on baseball again, until after we win in Omaha.
Lacrosse? I am still ready to see Breschi fired, and we won the NCAA tournament in 2016 (with a team that underachieved all year until that tournament).
Basketball? If I didn't make the Regions in both 2009 and 2017, there are no Heels in the Final Four to win it all.
Welcome I used to post on ic quite a bit I am.not a fan of the 247 version of it... So I am here most of the time I am thinking of cancelling my premium subscription there. I just don't like it; they post the exact same articles on both websites; it sucks, they even do that stupid crystal ball thing ugh... welcome man
The premium football board is EXCELLENT on this site IMO. Great content and great discussion on the forum.
