Big fella was a beast on Sat. Just rewatched the game for the 4th time. The whole OL was very good, but Ferranto had perhaps his best game against ACC level (or better) competition. Peterson won ACC OL of the Week, deservedly so, but Ferranto in tandem w/ Caleb was simply folding that side of the GT DL like an accordion. One time, Thomas, Crowley, Peterson pancaked their guys into one heap, while Ferranto down blocked his guy and had him on roller skates! The group seal by every OL guy on the 4th and 5 Speed Option that MW took to the house was a textbook thing of beauty....take it from an old OL.

I agree. I have said several times that I think Ferranto is a solid guy on the OL, but that he is not ideal at LT, especially against a DE who is quick as well as strong.

But Ferranto is a trooper who does his best at whatever position he finds himself playing. Assuming Spain healthy, I could Ferrnato starting at RG next year and doing well enough that we never miss Turner, as good as Turner is.

Heel Yes. Good work by the OL!

Glad to see this thread, we give so much credit to our backs, they deserve it to by the way, but we really need to appreciate this offensive line and the yeoman work they are putting in. On that last play MW took to the house, thing of beauty was the blocking that totally sealed off the defense allowing MW to get to the second level untouched. MW scored, give that ball to his oline!

agreed on all counts Woad. Ferranto's versatility has been invaluable to us in lieu of injuries which have depleted our OL. I'm very glad we have him. And I could very easily see him replacing Landon at RG next year.

Both lines should be very solid in '16!
