Tonight will be a very good test to see how Meeks will play against a high quality big guy. I think Hicks will get tested on staying out of foul trouble tonight.

I thought that Wisconsin's frontcourt players were good but not elite like Bryant has the potential to be.

I really believe that tonight's game will tell us quite a bit about just how strong of a contender we will be.

Really hoping to see Meeks rebound efficiently and Hicks to stay out of foul trouble. To me those two things are going to be the keys for tonight's game.

Some might say defending the 3 but I feel comfortable with our guards in that area.

GO HEELS!

Curious, I forgot Danny's little brother is a frosh at IU, I'm also curious regarding Luke, if he can dress and contribute it would help. If not we go with the personnel we have available.

Update on my part, Luke will travel to Bloomies, perhaps play, is literally waiting to see if he is okay after a couple of practices and if he makes the bus to the airport....okay, that's my part...

TB in the wings helps me feel a good bit better. He can spell both bigs with little to no drop off.
JB will annoy the crap out of their PGs so I expect to see some early run outs.

As important as Hicks, and perhaps even more so - Berry cannot get saddled early with fouls (shit calls) and us have a good chance to win.

Hicks just picked up his 2nd foul, I bet the farm this is going to be similar to the way a Dook Carolina game is called!

I think they key is for Meeks and Hicks to get Bryant into foul trouble. Roy always stresses how important it is for our bigs to get theirs in foul trouble, no truer than tonight. If we can have Bryant on the bench with 2 quick ones, I don't think they can beat us.

First several series I'd have JBII put the ball to Meeks on the block and following that I'd have JBII letting Hicks have it on the back cut. Pound the post, then let JBII or Kenny shoot a couple 3's...

I think that's what we'll see. I'd be surprised if we're launching jumpers in the first couple of possessions unless we're being doubled down low.

Actually, our Freshman, De'Ron Davis, is a better low post scorer than Bryant is. He's a top 40 recruit. About 6"10 240. Bryant is more of an energy, athleticism guy. And he's shooting 3s this year, too "some" success. I know you guys were wondering who the PG is too. It's Josh Newkirk. Not as good as Yogi but he's fast and he's 7-11 from 3 so far.

We have a lot more post depth this year. A lot more depth period.
