While we are still celebrating today and the culmination of an epic regular season, I can't help thinking ahead. As nearly as I can tell, next Saturday's game is the biggest in UNC football history. An ACC title is on the line against the number one (or maybe number 2 by next week) team in the country. And a conference championship in today's ACC is a much bigger accomplishment that it was in the 7-team league of the 1970s. I've waited my entire life to see us on a stage this big, in prime time, in front of a national TV audience, in a game with national championship implications. I can't wait for next Saturday night!
