Listening to primetime Pac-12 games is just brutal. How can Walton be so obnoxious and confrontational on air? He constantly bickers with the play-by-play guy, all about random nonsense. Thomas Welsh is the best shooter on UCLA, Lonzo Ball might not go pro, Cal and USC should easily be in, etc. It's hard to believe no one asks them to cut it out. And enough with the "Conference of Champions" talk. I could do without all of the homer "Dicky V" type announcing, in every sport.

Walton's drug addled banter was funny/interesting for a short time, but like Pukie V he has become a caricature of himself! He is almost unintelligible and goes so far off topic that he actually distracts from the game at this point.

I've only heard him a couple of times but found his banter pretty enjoyable. Might get old with more exposure, though.

That is it in a nutshell. He is enjoyable for a short time, but it gets old when there is really good action on the court. Kinda like when pukie V and OB are discussing some conversation he had with a coach in 1979 while UNC is coming back on the court! (Happened during DV's last UNC call!)
