Truthfully, letting Z follow bleed around everywhere for the next year is probably the only way to ensure that bleed doesn't eat bacon.

Well that just sucks. And all these years, I've sworn by the magical healing properties of bacon! Perhaps once the sutures are removed, you can rub the area accordingly. Here's another thought. . . . As I recall, you said you'd give up bacon for a year if they won, but you didn't say which year. . . .

man oh man you may have just saved me SO MUCH heartache. when i made that "bet" i forgot about an upcoming beach trip with some buds where one our awesome meals involves bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer - quite possibly my favorite app ever. i remembered that when i woke up at 3am last night to take my oxy .. and wept.

but now, you have given me an idea!!

i made it through the beach trip without succumbing to the bacon temptation. it was very difficult, as expected, when the bacon-wrapped scallops came off the grill .... i ate one UNwrapped. that weekend will definitely be my most difficult situation for many months. i can easily substitute top shelf pork sausage. 94-81 ... it was still worth it !!

5 months in, still going strong. the bacon cheeseburger at a Pinehurst restaurant nearly did me in a few weeks ago but i was able to look away.

A friend had Texas Twinkies at their party this weekend - bacon wrapped around a jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese and brisket. Just perfectly balanced and cooked so the bacon just was on point - you could bite it in half without it stretching or crumbling. Wanted to eat the whole tray.
