Booing college players and coaches in the NIL era?

The Athletic had a timely article on is it still taboo to boo players, teams or coaches at the college level or has NIL changed that. The boos were evident as the team ran off the field at half time against JMU. I would have probably been booing the team and coaches for that effort or lack of and I used to not boo our team. But the coaches are making a ton of money and many players are also. I don't like to boo individual players still. What do you all think or feel about booing?
