I always feel like when UNC is the best team in the league, they get denied the awards just because. Roy should be COY, easily, but they will probably give it to someone else. Funny, Clemson won the ACC in football and their coach was COY.

Yep. I agree. But Roy has won COY a few times including at UNC, right?

Still - I saw a midseason COY article that listed 10 guys and Roy was nowhere to be found. Many other lower ranked but top 10 teams coaches www there. And of course Izzo was on the list fresh off leading a previous #1 team to incur a three game losing streak including a couple embarrassing beatdowns by Iowa. They barely beat freaking minnesota. Why they make Izzo into such a god I don't understand. Roy pwns tom.
