Brice traded....to Detroit

Change of scenery can't hurt. Brice doesn't have a natural NBA role, but he does have talent.

Good news for Brice, this change of environment is definitely good for him, hopefully he can carve out a role for himself while getting his career going and more importantly he finally gets away from Doc and his "ACC player of the year" son. He never gave Brice a fair shot as he did the same thing to Reggie and look at how Reggie is playing this year as he has found a good fit, go figure. I always said that when Brice played with that aggressiveness and intensity there was no stopping him, his senior year will always be remembered by us Heels fans. Can't wait to see some highlights of Brice throwing it down and letting everyone know it!

Hopefully the change of scenery will benefit Brice, but I'm not hopeful. Sadly, he didn't get much of a chance behind Griffen and Jordan. He's now still firmly planted behind Griffen and Drummond. Van Gundy does do a better job developing his young guys though. Here's to hoping he can actually get some run.

Great for Brice imo. Not sure why Detroit wants Griffin? His best days are behind him.

Brice is lucky to have a new start, but not sure he has the game to really evolve to much more than he is currently. But that’s OK. I know I’d love to hang around at any level in the NBA and collect this sweet checks.

As for Griffin. Have long felt that he was the most overhyped player in the league. For some reason they have tried to portray him as a superstar ever since he came in the league. He’s a decent player, but nothing more. Guess the Detroit brass felt they could impress their fans by bringing in someone with a supposed name
