Butler vs UNC----SWEET 16 GAME THREAD---FRIDAY 24 March 2016

It is serious dancing time again the Butler Bulldogs tried to take down the number one seed in the South. Two things clearly stick out for me and they both favor UNC. Caroline's three headed monster in the post of : Meeks, Hicks and Bradley are bigger than the Butler front court and that should lead to a ton of offensive rebounds which UNC has lived on this season and secondly and probably the most importantly is the experience factor. The Tar Heels will start three juniors and two seniors and the along with Maye and Britt have many players who have been on the big stage before. Butler really relies on the three ball and defense and tempo will no doubt determine the winner here but I like UNC here to stop the recent two game slide to Butler in a well played close contest until the end...

Roy can sit over their on his hands while we get hosed by the officials but he's an idiot. That wasn't close to being a charge. 4 minutes of play and we already have 3 starters with a foul.

Three straight Carolina turnovers allows another Butler basket. 10-9 at the first TV timeout. Berry and Hicks have each picked up a foul as has Pinson after the charge call. Berry has yet to take a shot. Meeks already with 4 rebounds.
