True, but it upsets me to no end how the negative media and rivals throw him under the bus.

You even have AAU clowns, who can't coach 10 year old's repeating lies to hurt the program.

RW deserves better, and hopefully his health allows him to coach another 8 years to get past this crap.

The effort is always there. But the results don't always pay off. My fear is he'll put too much more time into him and miss out on Jairus Hamilton.

If we put this much effort in Hamilton, we may have a done deal by now.

I've come to the conclusion that Roy loves a challenge. Over the years, we have watched him go all out for kids he had very little chance of getting (Zion, Zimmerman, Randle, etc) while prioritizing less kids that he likely could get and that are very good players in their own right.

Recruiting his arse and coaching the rest of it off as well! The best thing about our coach is he can adjust to what ever his roster demands! He can win with 5* or 3* & 4* players and keep our beloved U in the conversation every year! When we win another Natty (soon I think, no?), will Roy finally be appreciated?
