It seems like this may have been discussed on here before but I can’t find the thread. So I’m trying to get suggestions about cable TV providers. I am currently with DIRECTV but was just informed that my service is going up quite a bit. Looks like I may have to go back with my local cable company (charter/spectrum). Any info is appreciated.

I'm about a month away from dropping DirecTV/CenturyLink Bundle. It is ridiculous how much I am paying for a bunch of TV stations I don't watch, a phone line I don't use, and 6Mbps internet. We have Charter/Spectrum coming to bury a line for internet. I doubt we'll even get Charter TV unless they have an extremely basic package (local channels and HGTV for my wife.) It's going to cost me $1700 to run the line because we are pretty far off the road, but I'll make it back in the first year, and have much faster internet...

I have had Direct for 10 years but keeps going up and sick of it going out with any marginal weather. Just changed to Spectrum and so far so good.

I have Spectrum in FL. Primarily because it is part of my HOA and I have to pay for basic cable and internet anyway. It used to be bright house networks. Spectrum is way inferior.

Spectrum sucks but anything is better then DirecTV bending you over every month.
