Cal$hady isn’t happy

Cal and K these days:

Ky dropped out of top 25. Absolutely inexcusable given the fact that every single player on that team has been part of a recruiting class ranked 1 or 2. More talent than any team in th nation. Hilarious!!
Not sure you can say they have the most talent in the country lol but certainly shouldn't be out of the top 25. Their freshman just aren't good outside of Knox and Vanderbilt (barely played). Their sophomores are the leftovers from last year that couldnt get minutes. Nick Richards is pitiful. Diallo can't shoot. Green and Shai at PG are solid but nothing special. They just don't have the shooting and scoring they usually do and the elite PG

How is Washington doing?

All of the happening's going on at Kensucky with all that talent should tell the whole world it isn't Cal getting the players to the league. His past players could have went anywhere in the country and been drafted high. It's not all him.

That’s true Wall and Cousins could have gone to Alcorn State and been drafted where they were. I think Cal is a good salesman. He’s not known for x and o’s. It’s kind of ironic when Cal was getting Davis, cousins, Wall, and towns people criticized it and said he was ruining the game. Now that the dark master is successful at it it’s like he reinvented the game, but that’s the media. They’ve always been licking his boots. I’m not sure how they do it. I think Capel is the X factor in it tho. I’m sure he’ll be thrilled if Dracula ever retires and he doesn’t (and he won’t) get the job.

He's ok. When I watch UK he's a pretty much non factor. Averages about 11 and 5. They just don't have a difference maker in the post. He would be awesome as their 2nd big. They don't have a go to player imo

This is pretty much describes their whole team. They are "ok" but none of them are special........Knox has been the best, but even he isn't killing it. The crazy thing is that half their team is still showing up in mock drafts and if they aren't able to reload again, it might not get much better for them next year.

ETA: They do have Quickley and Keldon Johnson coming next year, but not sure that is going to be enough to fill their gaps. Don't know a whole lot about the Herro (sp?) kid.

Who are they going to reload with? The top players are already committed to other teams. They are doomed. Calipari should use his clout to help get rid of OAD ASAP. Now, that would be ironic!

That was my point. I'm not sure there are enough impact guys left for them to be able to reload with like they typically do, so the their success next year hinges on who stays/goes.

According to their official current roster;

3 top 10 recruits
5 top 20
2 top 50
3 unranked (1 is cals son)

Dook might be close but thats an incredibly loaded roster. And like u said, should be ranked. But imo its inexcusable they’re not top 10 as well

Yeah I see what you're saying. My thing is if you look at the talent on that roster they just aren't that good. Knox is probably their best player but isn't anything special. Nick Richards as a top 20 recruit is just laughable. Sacha Killeya Jones had no business being top 50. They should definitely be ranked but I don't see one difference maker on that team and their PG's are average. This is the 2nd time at U.K. that Cal hasn't had an elite freshman PG and the other time he didn't they made the NIT. He needs a great PG I would argue to win

I took a quick look at their roster and also the current NBA 2018 mock drafts (which are certainly subject to change). They have four guys in the mock draft right now, all first rounders. 1. Kevin Knox 2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 3. Hami Diallo 4. Jarred Vanderbilt

I'm going to assume those guys all go and then you have Nick Richard & PJ Washington who would probably like to go, but not sure if they will be able to or not? There are also rumors that Wenyen Gabriel is gone no matter what due to financial needs. (again, not sure how true that is). But even in a best case scenario their lineup would be something like this.

PG - Quade Green/Immanuel Quickley
SG - Keldon Johnson
SF - PJ Washington
PF - Wenyen Gabriel
C - Nick Richard/Sacha Killeya-Jones

That's a decent team, but it's almost the same as this year minus their top 3 guys. (Diallo, Knox, and Shai G.) Things get even worse for them if Gabriel, Richard, or Washington bounce. They will be relying heavily on Keldon Johnson as their go to scorer.

Fair enough. But just for shits and giggles heres unc

0 top 10
1 top 20
4 top 50
5 top 200
6 unranked

Just from reading Rupp Rafters the only thing he does well is flex. Apparently he can turn the ball over, get blocked, allow his man to score on him with no effort then flex at the other end if he deflects a ball out of bounds.

Knox is better overall then Cam. Cam is a great spot up shooter, and OK in all other areas of the game. nothing else.

Cal$hady? Please? Show me where Cal has done anything shady aside from one or two vacated seasons. It’s not like he was a part of decades of $hadiness like Ole Roy Boy! Hell, Kentucky doesn’t even have an AFRAM department to issue paper classes! As much as I hate Dook and know that Capel bribed Zion with his hoard of donuts, at least Cal wasn’t apart of the single biggest disgrace to college basketball not named Battier’s Head!

Laugh all you like. Calipari is the paragon of virtue. Just ask him! Is he salty? Damn right he’s salty! They took our jobs! And, by jobs, I mean recruits? We all knew Zion wasn’t going to be a Heel. But, as we were clearly out of the race, we had one distant hope. That Roy could somehow, some way, prevent Duke from sealing the best recruiting class ever! But no. Nope. You’d rather settle for diamond-in-the-rough players like that troglodyte Luke Maye. I’ll grant you, he was the missing link to last season. But how often is that going to happen? Awwww shucks, not that often? Again. Roy had one job. He blew it.

I can't tell if your serious or trolling.......BUT I laughed bc you make it sound as though having 2 seasons vacated are minor infractions that occur every day.
