He's a legendary coach. He deserves to be respected, just as Roy does if there's an article about him. There are plenty of people ready to write Roy off because of the scandal, and we believe that's hogwash. But we're really going to say our guy is the only clean one, and every other top coach is a slimeball? That's just bias talking, and I hope my fellow Carolina fans can rise above that to some degree. With all due respect, Calipari is only a "legendary coach" in his own mind. I'm a former coach and literally no one I've ever known in the profession considers him that.
Legendary recruiter? Yeah. Legendary coach? Um, no.

Legendary my ass. He's not a bad coach by any means, but I wouldn't put him up there with the greats just yet. Hell I'd take K over him any day.

Legendary? 1 national title with 1 billion top recruiting classes is legendary? Dudes a used car salesman that is passing as a basketball coach.Our coach didn't even get asked to go to the hearing for our "scandal". Calipari has put two schools on probation, and I would bet a lot of money Kentucky gets hit with something when he leaves. I have zero respect for that slime ball.
