I don't really hate it but don't love it either. It has made what was a throw away play into something a little more interesting. I'm sure patriots fans are hating it after it made the end of the AFC championship more difficult for them to tie the game at the end.

What's wrong with moving it back a few yards? If you're an NFL kicker, it really shouldn't matter much.
The principle of the thing. Just another example of how the NFL is a bunch of money-grubbing sloots who will change anything they feel like if it means they get your eyeballs for one additional minute or get one additional dollar.
i don't believe the current ass clown in charge has a clue as what the fans want.
