I've got UNC winning this one in a close one . . 28 - 27 . .

Whadja got Blitz . . . ?

I like that UNC is starting out against a QB that has never made a start. However, given the reputation of slow starts under Fedora and a completely new defensive schemes, which I assume we will have some breakdowns due to first live game in it, I am saying Usuck wins 31 to 17. UNC will win if the D can make enough stops and force the young QB into poor decisions. They will also need to control the ball by running it more using their great corp of running backs. This can only be done if Fedora doesn't try to outthink himself.

The new SoCar QB is RS Soph Connor Mitch from Raleigh. He was a top recruiting target for us - along with Trubisky. I hope Mitch is so worked up, so over-excited, over his first start being in Charlotte against UNC that he screws up royally.

Carolina wins handily, defense causes 3 turnovers, special teams scores and we look like National Championship Contenders on Prime Time T.V... score ends up 34-13...

Carolina 30
USC 27

The hurry offense eventually wears down USC's defense in the 2nd half.. Our defense regroups in the 2nd half after some miscues that causes us to fall behind in the 1st half. USC's last drive of the game ends in with a missed FG with less than a minute left... Spurrier's visor slams into the turf... Spurrier down plays the loss after the game..

I think South Carolina controls the LOS on both sides. I think SC get pressure on Williams and they have the speed at LB for him not to scramble too much. I think SC run the ball more than they pass it. If Mitch doesn't turn the ball over I think South Carolina wins. There is more talent on South Carolina's team from top to bottom. North Carolina wins if it becomes a shootout and they can force turnovers. Red zone scoring will also be huge. South Carolina must stay on the field and not let the tempo of North Carolina overwhelm them late in the game. They are two deep at every position but DE so that should be in their favor as well. All in all, I think it'll be a great game. I've got South Carolina winning 35-27.

Originally I said USC wins 45-31. Now USC is down two receivers (out for the year), their stating TE likely out with a hamstring, and a starting OL out with back problems. I believe USC still wins but this one could be MUCH tighter and really go either way. I will be hoping and praying for the UNC Blue!!! Please make a Clemson Tiger's day beat those Gamecocks!

USC- 35
UNC- 31

Gamecocks 34
Tar Heels 28 (both teams put up more points than 2013 and game is a close one)

Wofford 35
Clemson 28 (nearly the same score as 2011, just in reverse)

I don't think you understand the whole "jr" thing....

Anyways:
Carolina 38
USCjr 31

I fully understand it. just comical that fans have to resort to that sort of thing to make them feel better even though I responded to it to show how ridiculous it is. But if it makes you feel better go for it.

South Carolina 77- 0 .....that's what I want to believe but I think it will be a close one with us taking a 35-28 score. There's really no way to pick this game......

45-35 Gamecocks, Heels score late to make it look good, decent SEC team against poor Defensive ACC team means trouble...

And I believe that he actually believes this. It shows a lot about his football knowledge. He may be one of the ones lighting the match to start the fires in Columbia...

I have believed in the 'Heels turning the corner the last several years and I have been bit each time. Still, I just have a feeling that this may be a pretty good year for us. I don't know if it is a new DC, new attitude or maybe just carryover from my youngest son's HS team finally turning around with a new coach and new attitude.

Either way, I really think we will see a different UNC team this week. I am cautiously optimistic that we will win, but even if we don't, if I see a different team with a different attitude I will be pleased. Not happy, but pleased. With the injuries SC has, inexperienced QB and our defense I think being a lot better, I just think we will pull this one out. I think our offense and the pace of play will be a problem for SC.

My optimistic prediction:

UNC - 45
SC - 38

I see FSUjr is playing Golson at QB. He is from my hometown and was hoping he would go to us but not sure Spurrier was open minded enough to take him. Or he had no interest in us at all. Not sure which one.

I like Golson ... he has made his mistakes in the past but he is very experienced and can turn a play into positive yardage. Im sure he has a solid arm but Im not sure he knows the entire offense just yet so things might be very vanilla for us in the beginning. I also like the fact that he kind of has something to prove ... I hope he uses that motivation for the entire season.

I do believe it. Clemson replaces their entire defense. So until the D shows they can stop a triple option clock controlling offense, I have to go with the team that returns 19 starters. Sounds a lot like most Clemson fan comments about USCs QB situation, huh?

As for the game at hand, I think it will be a close one that will come down to a fourth quarter score. Just so happens I'm leaning towards the Gamecocks making that final score.

I agree and wanted him to transfer to SC. Not sure he had any interest in it but there was talk about it. I think he will do well for your team.
