I think Cam coming to us changes things, he has 2 yrs eligibility, lets assume he stays with us for both those years. ut we as well havYes, Theo will be gone after next season but we would have Cam for 1 more and BRob but we also have Leaky 6'8" former PG that may be a great fit for us at the 3.

Maybe not taking another wing is the better move, maybe another power forward or center is the better move? Your thoughts?

Guess we will have to wait to see what Roy does but Roy might still be interested in a combo 4/3 player (Zion Williamson, Hamilton) that can play both spots. Plus Cameron Johnson is a college graduate, it is possible that he comes to UNC for one year and then decides to play pro ball somewhere.

Agree, a couple of the young kids, like BRob will fill nicely at the wing, looking forward to seeing Leaky play (could fill two positions), not sure david, if Cam stays both of his eligible seasons then we may move to another big or pg, cause Jalek may not be around more than two seasons, another kid, cause of his genes (Mom and Dad) I am interested in seeing is Rush, he is a very athletic young kid, guessing he is 6'4" or so.

I think we need another PG. Felton is the real deal. I think with his freaky athleticism and IQ he leaves us. He is easily as good or better than Dennis Smith. On a team like ours he wont get to shine like DS did at the Moo, but talent is talent and he has loads of it. I know some detractors will immediately bash me with he hasnt played a minute of college and you are calling him the next MJ. I am not, but I am being realistic. He is a one and done talent in the mold of Russell Westbrook. Maybe he stays two years, but even if he does we need another rockstar PG grooming in the wings. If we dont get one ... We still have options but RW offense is very good with a great PG running the show.

JohnH are you describing Mr. W. Moore? He'd fill that spot. 6'4" 200lbs.

Regardless of what cam does I'd still like another highly ranked wing. And obviously we are going to need some help in the post.

Assuming all goes well with Cam, Hamilton is just icing. It gives Hamilton time to adjust to the game and perhaps be ready by his 2nd year.

If no one leaves early, we have 3 schollys available for the 2018 class, Black and White take 2 of those. For the considered deeper 2019 class we will have Luke, Kenny, and Cam schollys available to be filled by 2019 recruits.

We have 3 guys that should be able to handle the wing for season after next if no one leaves early. How is front court not the area of greatest need and maybe better filled by the 2019 class? Get a solid 2018 big man then take him but not sure I would a project like guy when 2019 looks more promising.

Good info. I think it's smart to recruit as though there are still two openings after Black/White for 2018 though. Between Cam, Jalek, and an unexpected transfer/draft move there has to be a good shot we lose someone early after this year. If not then awesome, but I wouldn't count on it.

I agree we should be going after bigger guys though, not pure wings. Even if Jalek and Cam both left we still have Kenny/7th/B-Rob/Leaky/Platek/Coby as options at the 2-3 spots. We are stacked there.

Thinking 2018 class is going to be like the Jackson Berry Pinson class. That class will bring us another national championship.

Really like that comparison and I agree.

Langford would be the icing on the cake for 2018, still feel good about him.

Hope we don't put too many eggs in the Zion basket. I agree that we're set on the wings.
I agree. Go after Zion sure, but we should also be targeting Naz Reid, Ian Steere, and whoever else is a top big that's interested. Maybe a point guard too. I don't imagine we'd get a top player with 7th and Jalek in the fold, but more of a Nate Britt guy for depth in case one of them leaves. Of course, I wouldn't take a depth point guard commitment until I was sure that we have an opening for a big too, so that commitment would have to come pretty late in the recruiting cycle (after next season) unless someone has told Roy privately they will leave after this year.

Cam has been released. Told everyone from the get go that this was going to happen.
