Very quick question here just because I lost track. How long will we have him eligibility wise? Kid had a great game last night and I’d love to see him grow and excel in our system and he seems very likable.

He has another year, not sure if he wants to use it or if the Heels will leave the scholly open for him, that is a decision they will make together, next question has he put himself into the second round of the NBA draft? The Stroke looks like NBA to me

Expect him to be around next year.

That stoke is a thing of beauty. His shot consistency is elite(when open and refining his decision making with pt). The firepower last nite from Kenny and Cam opened it up for Berry to punish the defense with the drive. Carolina is a scary opponent going forward. Im looking for Berry to take it to the rack because this game showed Berrys power (defenders having to stay out on shooters).

I think Cam enjoys CH and UNC and his team. I would not be surprised to see him stay. He and staff will surely look at his future prospects, if it is good for him he may go, but again, would not be surprised to see him stay.

He seems like a great guy, obviously can play at a high level. And has a degree as well. Can’t blame him if he looks into the NBA but IMO he would not be ready to go that route. May never be. But hey, so glad he is part of the family and hope he ultimately is successful in whatever he attempts.

I have never seen him play so hard since he joined UNC. He had a fantastic game! The shooting exhibition didn't really surprise me, but the 13 Big Boards and his defense DID. I wonder if he has turned the corner on his injury and getting more comfortable? I choose to believe that is the case.

WRT next year, I PROMISE you, if Cam wants to stay, Roy will have a scholly for him.

Great post. And remember that play where he dove and was sliding toward the sideline, and didn't just blindly save the ball, he made a crazy difficult sort of backhand-while-on-the-floor flip right to a Heel for an extra possession. I don't recall if we scored there.... but that play told me all I needed to know on whether he

I agree with your post but I also believe he played hard against Pitt. Cam appeared determined not to lose to his former team.

I will support his decision either way, but I really hope he thinks about how good this team can be next year with him. We will lose a lot with Berry and Pinson leaving, but we will have a great recruiting class coming in, the continued development of Brooks, Manley and our other young players and Maye and Williiams providing senior leadership. Cam would make us a strong title contender if he comes back.

18 and 13 great reasons for this Cam thread, and I'll give one, Cam is such an awesome and humble kid. If you watch his post game interviews (I attached the dook one below) you will see exactly that, he is well spoken, respectful and takes the time to really answer each question fully with a lot of great insight.

He always seems to have the right things to say about his teammates and you know that he definitely gels with the guys off the court too. I thought last night he played a very complete game on both ends of the floor with that awesome play diving on the floor for a loose ball and also hitting that big three to get us going again after that long stretch. A lot of people talked about how he was just a shooter, but the kid is just proving that he can do a lot more than that, his rebounding has really impressed me especially on the offensive end and I really love his decision making and passing ability which I think is very indicative of his high basketball IQ. Whatever Cam decides I am with him the whole way, I would love to have him back, but either way he is a Heel for life and the way he has bought into our culture from day one really has impressed me the most.
