Very low production quality considering it was the prime-time Thursday night matchup.
The announcers were just awful. They pronounced players' names wrong on both teams. They also failed football 101 in several instances. One example: they talked about how Pitt's defense had given up 14 scores on 14 attempts in the red zone. Then they went on and on about how, if Pitt stopped UNC on third down in the red zone, Pitt would improve on that stat. UNC kicked a FG, which then meant Pitt had given up 15 scores in 15 RZ attempts...not an improvement! Sheesh.
And holy hell what was going on with the down and distance? They'd show 2nd and 10 when there were clearly only 8 yards to go. Or 3rd and 3 when there were clearly 5 yards to go. That went on all night and the announcers were every bit as bad as the production crew about screwing it up.
Absolute amateur hour. Just not what you'd expect from the World Wide Leader.
