Man this guy was SPECTACULAR!!! this is a live concert from 1985 in London with Clapton, George Harrison, Ringo all those guys Idolized Carl and its no wonder with that talent... what showmanship and guitar pickin. He was still rocking to Blue suede shoes.. a song he wrote 30 years earlier.

The last 20 minutes are off the charts, wanna get away from all the crap of the last week??? watch some of this!!!!!

That was excellent! There’s a band makes the rounds here in Wilm called “phantom playboys” that does rockabilly and plays several of those songs. As for Perkins my son plays in a punk wave band and he recognizes him as the goat. His talent transcends the genres and the decades.

His Blue Suede Shoes was way better than Elvis.

I remember seeing that on HBO and it was really cool. It was better than the Hail! Hail! Rocknroll Chuck Berry special.

I could never figure out why his toupees were so bad.
