It is long overdue. The last time we made it: 1993.
The last national title: 1991.
We have the team that can win it this year.
ND is going to be #1 after knocking off Cuse. Those 2 and Denver might be the 3 biggest obstacles for us winning the national title.
I think the teams that have a realistic shot of winning it are Notre dame maryland carolina Syracuse Duke and Denver. If we ever tighten up the defense, we have a great shot

I don't thnk it is so much defense as it is silly turnovers and 6v6 offense. The similarities between Carolina hoops and lax are the style of offense- want to score quick and In unsettled situations. If we have to grind, we lose focus on offense worse than on defense, although Burke was pretty bad from the 2nd quarter until about 3 mins left.
It should be a very good ACC tourney this year.

Not a bad thought unc but they have the talent to score in 66 situations. As it gets late in the year, those transition opportunities tend to happen much less. W Simpson and pontrello now back, this midfield group is a matchup nightmare. They have more talent than anyone in the country so scoring 6 on 6 can happen. You can't expect every game to get the majority of your goals in transition. My issue w the defense is a lack of discipline. They foul entirely too much. Make these teams score 6 on 6 because it's the hardest thing to do in lacrosse. This team can definitely win it all
