CHAPEL HILL ---
The University of North Carolina has announced the kickoff of the Seats for Soldiers Campaign, an endeavor that allows Tar Heel fans a chance to assist military personnel.

The Seats for Soldiers Campaign is a way to show Carolina pride while also allowing military members an opportunity to attend a Tar Heel football game and witness firsthand the passion of what it means to be a Tar Heel.

“For several years Carolina Athletics has partnered with the University of North Carolina ROTC units and the Atlantic Coast Conference to honor service members as part of our Military Appreciation Day activities,” says Senior Associate Athletic Director Rick Steinbacher. "We’ve welcomed back to Kenan Stadium former Carolina student-athletes who have gone on to exemplary military careers as well as current students who are veterans and active duty service personnel. The Seats for Soldiers campaign is a way for Carolina fans to provide memorable game day experiences for service members and their families.”

For $10, you can sponsor a military personnel member and their family members from local outposts in our state to attend a home game in beautiful Kenan Stadium!

There are three ways for individuals or companies to take part in the Seats for Soldiers Campaign: purchase tickets HERE, call the Carolina Athletics Ticket Office at (919) 962 – 2296 or visit the Carolina Ticket Office (located at the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center) from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays.
