Center...

Word is they are expecting Crowley back for the opener but I guess that remains to be seen.

Just the Center spot from what I have been reading...True Freshman Tommy Hatton is working at Center...He was the No. 2 ranked Center in the country but man I don't want him starting now...I hate Fall Camp for this very reason....Let's just play....

And guard, with Cohen gone.

Henson could potentially back up both guard spots, as long as Peterson and Turner stagger the series they take off. If we're talking 75 snaps a game, the starters could get 60 each with Henson getting 30 (15 at each position).

Thought I also remembered reading that Ferranto has taken some snaps at guard during camp.

In the thread on our Ol being lauded for the season as maybe the ACC;'s best, I noted the injuries and the loss of Cohen. Ferrnato is indeed seeing some reps at OG. As back up OT, especially LT, is extremely important, I assume that we can move Ferranto get OG practice experience because our young OTs are coming along well. Sweet may be ready to play a key reserve role right now.

We are losing our depth, the experienced part of it, but we have a number of young guys on the OL with potential. Let's hope we have no more injuries and Crowley heals fully and the young guys get good reps with the 2nd team.

Oh, this Ferranto? (#77)

Ferranto should have watched that play over and over all off season.
I bet he has, as have the coaches.

Ferranto cannot be an effective starting LT at this level. He might be OK at RT with a little more work. And he could be best at OG.

What is the deal with Cohen? I had high hopes for him, Is he out of the program for good?. "Personal Issues" never seems to end well.

Word on the street is that he simply doesn't want to play football anymore. Disappointing for fans, but certainly understandable. I wish him the best regardless.
It happens. Guys burn out on sports. Sometimes you go from loving every second of preparing and playing to dreading it. And when that happens, you need to quit.

I hope he returns to school and earns a UNC degree.

Didn't Cohen post a tweet about rejoining the team in 2016?
