• The 105 points were a season high for UNC and the most in Hubert Davis’ three seasons as head coach (previous 12 vs. College of Charleston on 11/11/2022).
• UNC scored 51 and 54 points by half. It was the first time UNC scored 50 in both halves since scoring 50 and 51 against Notre Dame on 3/10/21 in the ACC Tournament.
• The 45-point win was the largest margin of the season and the largest in Davis’ three seasons. It was UNC’s largest margin of victory since defeating Louisville, 99-54, on 2/20/2021.
• Carolina shot a season-best 56.2% from the floor (previous was 52.5% vs. Radford).
• UNC turned the ball over a season-low five times, which also matches the fewest by a Hubert Davis team (five at Duke in 2022).

• Carolina out-rebounded CSU, 46-25. The margin (21) tied UNC’s largest of the season (also 21 vs. Lehigh).
• Carolina went on a 14-0 run in the first quarter, the eighth time in 12 games this season UNC had at least a 10-0 run (Lehigh, UC Riverside, UNI, Villanova, Tennessee, Florida State, Kentucky and Charleston Southern).
• The Tar Heels led by 23 at the half (51-28), their largest halftime lead of the season (previous 22 vs. Tennessee).
• This was the second game this season six Tar Heels scored in double figures (also vs. UNI in the Bahamas).

RJ Davis had 20 points, 10 assists, five steals and no turnovers. It was the first time in UNC history a player had at least 20 points, 10 assists, five steals and no turnovers.

• It was Davis’ fifth career double-double but his first in points and assists. His other four were points and rebounds.
• The last Tar Heel with at least 20 points and 10 assists was Kendall Marshall in 2012 at Duke (Marshall had 20 and 10). Davis is the 12th Tar Heel to have 20 points and 10 assists in a game.
• It was the second time in his career Davis had double-digit assists (12 vs. Marquette in 2022 NCAA Tournament first round). He is the first Tar Heel to have multiple games with 10 or more assists since Theo Pinson.
• Davis scored 10 points prior to the first TV break at 14:30 and finished the half with a dozen.

• Davis set a career high with five steals. He tied his previous high with four in the first half.
• It was the second straight game Davis had at least 20 points, five assists and zero turnovers. He had 23 points, five assists and no turnovers vs. Oklahoma and 20 points, 10 assists and no turnovers tonight.
• Davis became the first Tar Heel to score 20 or more in eight straight games since Tyler Hansbrough in 2008-09.
• Davis passed J.R. Reid in career scoring and Dexter Strickland in career assists. Davis has 1,563 points, 30th most by a Tar Heel (Reid had 1,552). Jeff Lebo is 29th with 1,567. Davis has 347 assists, which are the 24th most by a Tar Heel. Strickland had 342. Mike O’Koren is 23rd with 348.

• Davis had as many assists (7) in the first half as CSU had turnovers (7).
• Jalen Washington scored a career-high 17 points. It was his third time in double figures as a Tar Heel (13 last year at Virginia, 11 earlier this season vs. UC Riversde). It was also the second time this season Washington hit two three-pointers in a game (also vs. UC Riverside).
• Washington was 5 for 5 from the floor (2 for 2 3FGs) in the first half.
• Washington finished 7 for 9 from the floor. His previous high for field goals made was five at Virginia last season.
• Armando Bacot scored 12 first-half points to pass Larry Miller for seventh all-time in scoring by a Tar Heel. Bacot has 1,987. Miller had 1,982 from 1965-68.

• Harrison Ingram scored 10 points. He is the only Tar Heel to score in double figures in all 12 games.
• Ingram made three 3FGs. It was the sixth time in 12 games he made multiple threes.
• Seth Trimble tied his career high with 12 points (also vs. Arkansas in November). He was 6 for 10 from the floor (career high for both categories) and grabbed a career-high six rebounds.
•James Okonkwo scored seven points, his first points as a Tar Heel (this was his sixth game this season).

• Elliot Cadeau scored 13 points, two off his season high. It was the second game this season he scored in double figures (15 vs. UNI).
• This was the first time UNC and Charleston Southern have ever played.
• Carolina has won 17 straight non-ACC games in the Smith Center and is 228-18 all-time against non-conference foes in the Smith Center.
