Chase Jeter Transferring

No surprise.

It was obvious that Jeter wasn't ready for the college game last season. But if he had been here, he would have gotten more minutes and more development. He would have been better this season and would have been a solid starter next year.

No, I don't know that for an absolute certainty, but I'd bet on it.

No shock whatsoever.

DeLaurier should be smart and follow suit next. That is, if he actually believes he has any sort of chance in the NBA (which I've heard he doesn't)

Stay tuned...

I predicted this several weeks ago. Predicted Jeter would be K-Rat's third 5-star transfer. The other two being Thornton and Alex "Can't Miss" Murphy.

He might be one of those 4 year role player kind of guys. But between him and the top 10 guys like Wendell Carter or Kevin Knox, you can bet he's not starting over them.

Sulaimon was a 5 star. Though I realize that situation was different.

I think it should be easier to transfer. Not sure how you could do that without making it easy to take advantage, but easier.

How about something like you can transfer after 2 years without having to sit out a season if you didn't average 10 mpg or more.

I think if the coach leaves it should be easier. But not if you just made the wrong decision during the recruiting process, especially for as much as these kids drag that process out.

1. You are absolutely correct
2. You would win that bet.

These kids going to dook are being lied to, plain and simple. Led by kay's doo boy Jeff Capel.

We'll be the one mesmerized when Duval,Knox and Bamba pick Dook in the next few weeks. I don't even know if most kids and their parents even watch how teams use players at certain positions. How a five star big man and his parents could watch Duke and say I'd be perfect for their system is beyond me. Then on the other hand Meeks and Hicks are seniors and we couldn't secure a commitment from an elite power forward to start along side Bradley next season.

The guy handling (key word) his recruitment is...interesting.

That's the big problem with recruiting when people other than the kid, HS coach and sometimes parents handle the process.

If Bamba himself were leading this process we would be a possible destination. No doubt about it.
