Someone would have to want him as a Head Coach for that to happen and that shipped may have sailed. He doesn't want a mid major job and no big time P5 schools are calling. I think he's probably in the booth for good. If he really wants to be a HC again leaving his post here for the studio gig was a big leap in the wrong direction.

A couple things:

1. Flying to Charlotte a couple days a week and talking football is a hell of a lot less taxing than being a full-time CFB coach lol. Let's not act like Chizik can't 100% do his booth job and spend all the time in the world with his kids that he wants.
2. @TobaccoRoadFan No chance in Hades Chizik becomes an SEC head coach again. The SEC (rightly or wrongly) thinks he sucked as a head coach. Trust me, I live in the heart of SEC country. They think the only reason he won any games there was because of Cam Newton. He is not at all thought highly of as a head coach in the SEC. Coordinator, different story.
