Coaches really stressing being physical- especially in the trenches. Just being more disruptive there makes a world of difference
Amen, great enthusiasm and attention to detail. Already working on end of game scenarios. We're gonna be more fundamentally sound defensively and as someone who would play linebacker if I could pick any position to play, I freakin' love it!

I watch this vid every couple of days and it never fails to get me pumped up. Some of my favorites:
"It matters or we're not doing it."
"Get better every day."
"Melt towards that angle, don't just go running out." Addresses a key issue we had.
"Don't ooze off the ball."
And my favorite:
"NEVER PLAY HIGH, NEVER PLAY HIGH."
With the attention to fundamentals, we can't help but be better defensively. No matter how talented you are, you'll never be a great defensive team if you aren't fundamentally sound. And we don't have the talent that many teams do so it's even more imperative that we master the fundamentals.

I liked that, too. Sounds simple enough, but I guarantee you last season there was an issue with players questioning the point of certain drills.
