UNC defensive coordinator after practice on Tuesday:

Asked what stands out about Miami on offense, Chizik said:

“Skill level, for sure. Very talented, very talented football team offensively in key positions. Starting at quarterback, you can go to tailback, two really good tailbacks. Then (Stacey) Coley at wide out, and then they have an offensive line that’s very solid and they have a lot of starts under their belt. The talent level is what stands out the most.”

On Miami head coach Mark Richt, whom Chizik has coached against in the past:

“Mark has done a great job there running the offense, and he’s got a little new flavor to his offense to what he does. He’s got a little bit of an up-tempo method now, which is a little different from what he’s done in the past. But he does a great job; some of the stuff is similar, some of the stuff is different, but he’s changed a little bit and I think it’s helped him.”
