Mullin to SJU - not sure if he was interested but Mark Jackson would have been a way better hire.

Barnes to UT - fail. UT will regret this hire.

Mullin is an interesting hire. Shortly after retiring he to the GM position with Golden State and failed epically! It will be interesting to see if taking on just coaching duties Will prove to be easier.

Chris Mullin will get the attention of not merely NYC but all northeastern Catholic high school coaches. He could be the guy who gets the Johnnies back into the top of the BE while making NYC pay attention.

With Mark Price being named UNCC's coach, it made me wonder if we might see him at GT in a few years. Guards returning to coach or at least assistant coach at their alma mater seems to be a growing trend...

My guess is that GT people are hoping Price does a great job this year so that they can fire Gregory next year and hire him.
