Just watched Clemson's entrance , Howard's Rock and all , gotta admit it is impressive to recruits and me. Tip of the hat to the Tiger fan base and their enthusiasm..

Its usually a lot more exciting when they dont have to spread guys out and take the hill slow

Halfway through quarter #1 and Clemson is up 14-0 . .

I live here (Clemson) and it is, without a doubt, the most BORING college town, especially for a school of it's size. Athens, by contrast, is a very cool town. Clemson is a farming/engineering school. In terms of redneck and hayseed reputation, we give NCSU that crown, but Clemson really deserves it. This place is hee haw land. Raleigh is nothing like that. I grew up in eastern NC, where you were "Carolina or State" and the landscape was literally TOBACCO farms! But, keep in mind, the movie Deliverance was filmed about 10 miles from here!

And, Clemson fans think their school has a football legacy that is on par with their opponents tonight... they don't. They had a domination of a mediocre football conference for um-teen years. Then FL State joined, and ever since then it's been different.

Being here, you're in a mix of UGA, Clemson and USC fans. All are unsavory as a Tar Heel. I will give their fan base and school credit for creating a huge football following. You can tailgate at Clemson, too. It's laid-out for tailgating everywhere.

I wish UNC fans were half as committed to football as Clemson fans Strum. And I wish Chapel Hill and the university were half as committed to football as Clemson is.

Oh, I know what you mean. But, football is ALL this place has! Literally! Clemson built up football when UNC was building basketball. I wouldn't trade our basketball legacy for their football legacy ever! And, I love Chapel Hill. It's much, much nicer than this campus.

I like having easy access to seeing the Heels play when they come here!

14-3 at half!
