The coaching issues are all small. Literally, if Clemson had taken Mafah out after that 46 yard run, then a rested Shipleyb gets the next carry rather a very tuired Mafha, and then the next play, it would have been reset Shipley as the back blocking on the pass play. Shipley is a much better blocker than Mafah anyway, and tired Mafah aint gonna halfway block nobody. So ion Shipley had been in the game Come-on does not give up the easy TD from the QB sack and probably scores. That would have won the game for Clemson.

Mafah can run well when he is rested, but in every other part of the game he is vastly inferior to Shipley. Playing him too much always hurts Clemson.

I live IN Clemson and that ain't the word Thunderbird. He's the one of the wealthiest men in the state of SC.


I did see a t-shirt the other day, a Clemson T-shirt. On the front it says "Dabo Knows"... now, I'm of the opinion that the term is generated by a double entendre on Dabo Swinney's... NOSE. I have a big nose, so maybe that's my go-to instinct.

But, when I saw his profile cardboard cutout in a local Publix, part of a Coca-Cola promo... I said "Wait! DABO Knows is the NOSE!"
