Also loved that Roy stuck with the best lineup possible for the last 8 minutes instead of sticking with normal sub patterns. Brice, Hicks and Johnson were huge against the zone. Also, second game in a row Berry hit a cold blooded at a critical point in the game.

yep; Marcus only hits one shot, but we have four others in double figures, get 8 from Meeks in limited minutes, and 6 from James.

LOVE this team and its refuse to lose attitude. A Real Carolina team down the stretch..... just clutch all the way. I especially like that we can win in a very hostile, difficult place with Marcus scoring THREE points

I was actually going to start a similar thread. The biggest jump this team had to make was from one that did not play well late to one that did. For the most part they have done a good job there.

I have to think that having Hubert on staff has helped us in that area.

We put 51 on them and their zone in the second half, while making only 2 threes in the second half. Pretty fricking awesome in the half court and at the FT line. Seems like after it was 56-50 them, we must've shot about 80% from the floor from that point on. Mostly layups, dunks, or short sweet jumpers from Brice

Closers indeed - from the 8:15 mark - when we were down 56-50 - to the end of the game ...
we went 12/13 (92%) from the field; 1-1 from 3; the only miss was the big time play blocking Marcus's layup off the rim
we were 8/11 73% from the free throw line
we had one turnover.

Awesome close. I can't remember that strong of a close in a game, but we've had a few of them this year. KSU comes to mind when we were down late, and ended up pulling away and winning by about 10.
