On the difference in the atmosphere on campus this year from last year
and what kind of changes have you seen
I don't really know what kind of changes there are, because I wasn't
here to compare them. But being a year into this, I'm just very happy
with the way things are heading, you know, the direction things are
heading as a football team; certainly for us defensively. Obviously,
especially, with this today and with the signing class we put
together, we've got a ways to go, as evident as the year went on, that
I think there was a lot of positive experiences in there for
everybody. But there was enough in there to show we haven't arrived
and we have a long way to go. I think today was a step in the right
direction without question. I think our guys are eager get back into
it. I think they're having fun playing football and they can't wait
to get back into this thing.
On what kind of impact you think you've had on recruiting
You know, it's a team, it's such a team effort. Our guys do an
unbelievable job recruiting, all these guys on this staff. It's one
of the hardest working staff's I've ever been around. They all do a
great job of building relationships with players. I'm just glad that
I can be a part throw my hat in the ring in there and recruit with
them. It was definitely a team effort in every way shape and form. I
think everybody on our staff did a great job and obviously Coach
Fedora as well.
