Why are u hating on Russell? Comparing Russell Wilson to K is just wrong.
Now you guys and gone and done it! By being a bunch of old meanies and saying bad things about Grayson Allen and Coach K, you've forced those nice little boys on DI the start a thread to remind us about all the bad things (no matter how screwed up the "facts" are-didn't know Dean Smith coached Joe Forte, for instance) about Carolina and Carolina players.
Don't ya'll understand that no one is supposed to say anything bad about duke players? And don't ya'll understand you're NEVER to question anything Coach K does!!! Never mind the fact that if these recent things being discussed were the acts and statements of a Carolina player and coach that those boys would be ripping them apart, you're supposed to forget that and realize that this is duke, SO IT's DIFFERENT!!! The coach, the players, the legacy, are SO EASY to hate! It's great for the rivalry. I will give shuh-shef-skee credit for that much. I actually love the guy for his contributions to keeping the rivalry fresh and full.

The OP of that thread is so obsessed with UNC that you can't take anything he says seriously. He's the first one to whine about people over here calling K a "rat" but he chimes in constantly when DI talks about Meeks' weight. It's quite comical.

Media is STILL letting him off the hook. Main point is he LIED, and stated he did NOT say what the OU player reported, by extension, calling the OU player a LIAR himself. Neither the media nor Kay have acknowledged these 2 facts, nor has Kay apologized for LYING and insinuating that the Oregon player was the one who LIED.
Any of you old schoolers remember the wars between King Rice and Bobby Hurley? King always got under Hurley's skin and was able to get him off his game. One time, Coach Rat face made the mistake of telling King to knock it off during a game. Dean comes right over and told the rat to stop taking to his player.

At least K is surpassing his mentor the other coach K in the finer points of basketball as well as wins and championships. I know K hasn't thrown a chair on the court, but his complete lack of class- his complete lack of integrity and now lying about this type of thing just prove what a total @ss he is. It's the biggest reason for me why DOOK no matter how many W's will always SUCK.
On a side note I was at the beach this weekend and saw a kid in a DOOK hat- he was acting like a complete jerk at the PUTT PUTT place we were playing Monday morning whilst my son sporting a UNC shirt was being very calm even though at least 3 years younger- acting much more mature. His parents looked so embarrassed as he was pitching fits, holding us up behind them and crying about the score. I caught the eye of the dad and with a grin on my face tipped the bill of my UNC cap in their direction. Classic.
