Coach Robinson . .

That final time out all the coaches were discussing what to do. The.player were doing the same. Took half the timeout before they told the kids what to do. Glad we have a good bench who did not panic when Roy went down

I would give the game ball to the coaching staff and the MVP for the game to Coach Robinson. Some strong play calling by the bench and a couple of very timely timeouts called by Coach R.

Coach Rob settled them down for sure. But to me it was just a temporary band aid covering some serious flaws right now.

Adam Lucas agrees :). Most recent column below. Big Up Coach Rob!!

Loved the part in this article about where Coach Rob instantly flipped the switch from "always challenging players, pointing out what they can do better" to "coaching / talking them up, giving them confidence, getting them to relax and be positive"

One other thing in this article that blew me away - I had to go back and read it again. JP Tokoto was one of the guys mentioned texting immediately to ensure Roy was OK.

I'm not saying there was hate between Roy and JP, but I do believe both had to be disappointed in how it ended, didn't work out as both would've liked it too. JP reaching out made me smile, and elevated his character a lot of notches in my book. I think he's a good young man, has crazy athletic skills / hops, and I hope will always be considered part of the Carolina Family.

One of the things I noticed, grayhead touched on it, the guys came out of that time out focused. I saw "that" look in Joel Berry's eyes and the rest of the guys were more "into" it.
Love our staff and all the guys on the team.
