Kevin Stallings*** - 56 - 9/23 - 455-283 (.617) 0-0 (.---)

* Boeheim's numbers are after the NCAA forfeits
** I only counted Larranaga's Division 1 record
***Pastner and Stallings are at the end because I listed coaches in the order of their ACC percentage record. Seemed like a good idea when I started, and too much trouble to change.

Is there any coach in the nation who gets to the NCAA tournament at a higher frequency than Roy?

The only year he didn't play in the postseason was his first year, when he took over a Kansas team that was banned from play. Not his fault.

And the only year he didn't take his team to the NCAAT, they went to the NIT and played in the championship game.

Moreover, Roy's teams have NEVER lost in the first round of the NCAAT.

If you are a player who wants to play on the big stage in the postseason, it's hard to beat that record.

For those who think Duke has eclipsed us recently - what with all their ballyhooed recruiting successes - consider the NCAAT records for the last 5 years:

Year__UNC__Duke
2016__5-1__2-1
2015__2-1__6-0
2014__1-1__0-1
2013__1-1__3-1
2012__3-1__0-1

UNC total = 12-5
Duke total = 11-4

Sure, give them credit for winning a championship. That is a big deal. But our guys actually played in 2 more NCAA games and won 1 more than the Duke kids did.
