You might also check your power settings if it's a laptop. They might be set to turn off the display after a certain amount of time or when the computer enters sleep/hibernation. Sometimes with mine I have to open and close the lid twice before the screen wakes up.i have a computer that will turn on and run like normal at times. I will give it a shot tomorrow but I have a feeling it won’t work. I enter what I think the password was and after three attempts it turns the computer off. I have tried the so called trick of jumper or short circuit but no luck. Give it a try and continue to google itQuick Google search. Hope this helps
