Roy ties Coach Smith with 65 NCAA tourney wins (2nd most in history behind some dude down the road).
I thought Roy and his staff did an awesome job preparing our team for Arkansas. The Heels broke down the full court press all night long, and effectively used the zone defense to hold the Hawgs into their most turnovers and one of their worst shooting nights of the year.
And his substitutions worked well for the most part. Yes, Joel James was a liability again with his inability to hold onto the ball, but Roy was handcuffed with all the fouls on the bigs in that game.
We have truly been blessed to have had Coach Smith and Coach Williams in Chapel Hill.
OH yeah, and UNC has been to more Sweet 16's than any program in college basketball history.
