A total slaughter of the Buckeyes! I love seeing Ohio State lose!

And, happy for Tyler Trent

Opens up the door for two sec teams to make the playoffs though. That would suck.
I'm just glad for the feel-good story and outcome. They were having a helluva time! That kid was loving it! Too bad Drew Brees wasn't there!

I really don't care who is in the FBS playoff. Alabama is a Panzer Tank and will be next-to-impossible to beat... as usual.

And, I wouldn't want Ohio State in it, either. Same with Penn State.

I agree, great win for the Purdue program. Congrats also to Scott Frost for his first win at Nebraska.

Assuming the Michigan can beat Penn State next weekend, it looks like the conference title and potential playoff spot will be decided by the UM / Ohio State game.

I hate the Big Ten far more than I hate the SEC. The Big Ten is the very definition of sleazy hypocrisy.

Brohm is a Louisville guy, I don't mean just that he played there. His dad also played QB for Louisville. The entire family seems to live in Louisville. They have deep ties to the entire university and to local politics.

So, I would not be shocked if Brohm would answer a call to replace Petrino, should Bobby get the boot.

alabama is one injury away from being a very beatable team (tua t). their defense is nowhere near the monster they were last year, and their second string QB is stoppable as uga showed in last year's title game. they might lose at LSU (#5) in two weeks, but with tua and weeks to prepare i wouldn't want to face them in the playoff.

won't matter if they lose a game.... they are "inked" in as one of the 4 teams every year anyway

Alabama’s backup QB is better than most team’s starter.

I'm surprised Hurts didn't decide to either redshirt or transfer, especially since Tua will be there for at least another season after this year.

Tua has some residual knee issues. There’s a decent chance he goes down at some point.

And the kid probably wants another ring. I can’t blame him.
