Thanks Panther. Pitt definitely looks like they're up and coming and if Narduzzi stays the course at it's current arch, I would imagine that the Panthers will be a tough out and in contention for the Coastal more years than not.

Y'all's defense shut us down in the second half. No defense has done that all season (we beat ourselves against SCar). That was impressive to me.

Wouldn't be shocked if y'all won out, including ND.

No doubt about it...Some of the catches that Boyd made reminded me of another former Pitt great in Fitzgerald...Bright future ahead of that young man...He obviously has very strong hands as he basically snatched the ball away from our defensive backs on several occasions last night...He's definitely a player of the year candidate and one of the top receivers not just in the ACC but in the whole country IMO...

Very impressed with what Narduzzi has done in a realtively short period of time, and concur that the future is bright moving forward for the Panthers...

QB is fine - not great, but fine. If that team playing as it does has Conner to set the tone, with Ollison giving him breaks and keeping a fresh RB every, and Boyd, it will eat the clock very well against anybody.

For the good of ACC football, I hope both return next year.

Pitt is here to stay -- all they gotta do now is take their recruiting to the next level. If they had Conner, they'd probably win the Coastal.

Great game by NC and by far the more athletic team. One question I have for UNC fans though is why was Fedora so conservative? It seemed like you could have put 45+ up last night. Couple third and fourth downs I thought he should have went for it. Also Elijah Hood is a beast.

Fedora has really slowed the pace this season and toned down his propensity to gamble and go for it a lot. I would've liked to see us go for it on the 4th and 2 when we were like on the 12 and settled for a FG but that was probably too risky.

Honestly, it could be Chizik rubbing off a bit on Fedora. Chizik's philosophy is to bend but don't break, keep everything in front of you and don't let the other team have catastrophic plays against you. Perhaps this assured cautiousness has rubbed off on Fedora and the offensive staff just a bit.

I agree we let it get much too close for comfort last night but I think that is a testament to y'alls stingy defense. We could not punch it in the endzone last night because your defense really hunkered down inside the 20. Did poor play-calling contribute to that? IMO, yes. But still, your defense did not give us anything other than 2 "splash" TD plays.
