Cool article about our argyle uniforms

It's about the football team adopting the argyle, but then it delves into a cool story about when, how, and why Alexander Julian put argyle on the basketball uniforms. I had no clue about the assistance from a certain well-known basketball Tar Heel in getting everyone to buy in to the argyle concept.

I'm glad they decided to put it on all of the sports uniforms. It kind of ties all of the sports together to show that it represents the university and not just one team. I can't think of another college that has the same design feature on every uniform. One more way for us to stand out.

I won't lie, I HATED it when they announced they were putting the argyle on the football uniforms (and baseball to a lesser extent), but I immediately regretted that anger as soon as I saw the football uniforms in action. The argyle, in addition to returning to a truer Carolina Blue, really makes our football unis look sharp.
