This month's Modern Trader magazine had a column on making bacon bourbon (but if the above is available, why bother?) and following recipe (which I might try on cool morning before golf this week!):
BACON OLD-FASHIONED
2 oz. bacon bourbon
0.5 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 large orange peel
1 slice crispy bacon
