I hope people beyond Bubba Cunningham are looking see the correlary between putting a great product on the field and money that comes into the program. From the outside, I am seeing anecdotal evidence that things are picking up. I called my brother yesterday to dissect last weekend's win and next weekend's game. Somewhere during our talk, we laughed that when was the last time we were so engaged in football with a top 10 basketball match-up looming. I see the message boards both locally and nationally are buzzing. TV pundits are talking about us with great respect. Tickets are sold out for Charlotte. I would have to imagine there will be a huge spike in attendance next year. And finally, I can see the Rams club donations ticking up.

I hope that the power brokers understand that good football is a vehicle for so many positive things. We just need to invest well and tend the garden as it grows.
