They are now 9-0 in the ACC, with the hardest game behind them. Is there any team left on the schedule that can beat Virginia, or will they go 18-0 in ACC play?

Nobody in conference will beat them during the regular season.

Think they might run the regular season .. lose to dook in the ACCT and make the great 8 in the NCAA .. jmho

UVa isn't going undefeated in the ACC. Just don't have enough fire power to not have a totally cold shooting night.

I watch their team play and continue to be astounded. They just play great defense and make enough shots to win..... but the sum is clearly better than the parts.

I look for them to flame out though in the NCAA Sorry just do not believe you can win it all playing their style.

Their defense gives them a chance to but I think they’ll lose at least one conference game. I do think that game yesterday was for the regular season title, don’t think they’ll lose 3 ACC games.

They defend as well as any team I’ve seen in years. And their players are smart and tough as nails. My hat’s off to them. IMO, they’re capable of being a FF team.

They had no business beating d00k at d00k from a talent perspective. As good a win in a big game as I’ve seen all year. The LOM played his starters all but 6 minutes if the post my friend Keyser put up is correct, and he usually is. THAT’S how badly the LOM wanted this one. Did my soul good to see him and the Tripper so pissed off. You could have fried an egg on Knight Lite’s forehead.

They only beat BC by 1 at home. That probably counts as their Wofford.

Only loss was on the road against a good WVa team.

Only other close games were home against Syracuse and @ Duke.

They still have home-and-away against Louisville and away games against Syracuse, FSU and Miami.

I'd say they are more likely to lose 2 than zero, but 1 loss is the sweet spot.

Do you agree they probably sewed the regular season up?
Yeah. Even if they lose all of those tough away games (unlikely), I think that leaves them at least a game ahead of anyone else.

OTOH, because they don't get much respect in the post season, I won't be surprised if they don't get the NCAAT seed they should get. Unless, of course, they keep winning.
