Hey guys - I have been watching Twitter and the message boards...I have seen a couple posts, but not very many, from current players about the transition.

Anyone seen or heard the reactions from current players following their team meeting yesterday?

I'm excited about the direction we are headed...Thanks guys!

Go Heels!

I bet Ruder or Fortin starts at QB. I think they’ll leap frog Surratt.
I hope to see that as well. Doesn't Elliott still have another year of eligibility? I wonder if we'll see either him or Surratt transfer. I think Nathan would be a good locker room guy, but should be relegated to 3rd QB, and convert Chazz to WR.

I think Chazz will either move to WR or transfer. He's got to know that he's not going to get any playing time at QB. I think Elliot knows that as well, but he seems like the type of guy who might stay even though he won't play.

Elliott is an interesting case. He is a better QB than many can see, but he is smart enough about the game to know his limitations and that Fortin and Ruder both have much more upside and if they get a Spring where they alternate between #1 and #2, the team will be best prepared for 2019, at least at that position.

How much does he want to start next year? Would he prefer to start at an AAC or CUSA school, or to be part, a 5th year Senior leadership part, of the rebuilding?

Does Elliott want to be a high school coach like his dad? If so, a year with Mack Brown has got to be great for the resume.
