Honestly, no I do not want it to survive. Contraction is really the most appealing option to me for the ACC but I agree that just can not happen (much like I think an MLB without the homeless A's and silly little Rays is just a better more competitive game but they seem to be hard set on expansion). Lets get to the SEC and keep the whole athletic department fully functional because when the massive revenue gaps start to show up basketball and football don't feel it for a long time but all the other sports will immediately.
I also know for a fact if I was as bad at my job as Phillips is at his, it would have been my former job and long long time ago.
