Daily Drop: UNC Basketball's Euopean Revolution?!

I hope UNC doesn’t just limit its search to Europe…. There’s a big ol’ world out there with tall kids learning how to hoop.

And dare I say it, some kids are being taught very well… better than the development in AAU.

It won't, but the majority of players will come from there.

Super unlikely - demographically very short and almost all the athletic men play rugby league.

Tanner should be at the U19 worlds this month - not to find players, but to see the players UNC has already missed…. and then work out where they’re coming from.

Hint: there’ll be one team there with the brothers of two current NBA players and a 7-2 centre who’s in this year’s draft.

Was having some fun with it.

With current NIL it does seem more likely that recruiting in other countries makes sense, now we have something to offer, in the past guys would just turn professional at 16. Talent in other countries that want to come to America at 18-19 years old to go to a college, which recruiting in these countries these are multi year college players as most need development ( After thinking about it, it is a great plan for that reason we can have multi year players) as a lot of American players think they are already developed and want to play now.
